Core42 is the group's dedicated sovereign cloud and AI infrastructure arm, built around full data residency and jurisdictional control for government and large enterprise workloads, including a distributed AI Cloud platform that lets customers provision compute across jurisdictions under one operating model. Presight, a publicly listed company on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange under the ticker PRESIGHT since its March 2023 IPO, specializes in big data analytics and decision intelligence, with deployments already running across UAE finance, education, energy, and public services. The Compute Layer Behind Them: Stargate UAE

Announced on May 22, 2025, Stargate UAE is a partnership between G42, OpenAI, Oracle, NVIDIA, SoftBank, and Cisco to build a 5 gigawatt AI campus in Abu Dhabi, with an initial 200 megawatt compute cluster targeted for 2026. G42 is building the site, OpenAI and Oracle operate the compute, and NVIDIA supplies the chips. Global Hyperscalers With Sovereign UAE Footprints
The global hyperscalers have not stepped back from the UAE. They have instead built UAE-specific, sovereign-compliant offerings rather than relying on offshore regions. Oracle expanded its Abu Dhabi region in November 2025 with the first OCI Supercluster in the Middle East, powered by more than 4,000 NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs and explicitly positioned to support Abu Dhabi's target of becoming a fully AI-native government by 2027.
